KEY STAGE 3 – Religious Education Year 7 Year 8
Welcome to the RE Key Stage 3 Homepage. Here you can find information on the Key Stage 3 curriculum. Students will study RE once a week in a 50 minute period. In this time students will be given the opportunity to study the key concepts involved in RE. The aim of the lessons will be to give students an understanding of the key ideas about religion as well as a comprehension of what they can gain from the religious ideas they study. We hope to provide this information to the students using a variety of methods which will make the topics engaging and motivating.
During each year there will be 3 assessments which are designed to establish the student’s attainment grade. For more information on the assessments and how they are marked please look at the information for each year group.
