Welcome to our successful A-level History courses. Unusually we are able to offer two courses to choose from that reflect the historical passions of our staff and therefore ensure that we facilitate the best teaching our department has to offer.
Both courses are structured and taught in the same way but the choice of units means pupils and staff can indulge their historical interests and study a broad scope of history. Pupils will also develop excellent historical skills, and transferable skills, to support their future studies and careers.
An outline for History A and its support materials are below. You will find the same Outline and Support sections for History B follow on.
