History

Year 12 A-level (Exam Board AQA)

This is a really exciting year to be joining our successful history department as we have recently introduced two new courses that reflect the historical passions of our staff and that facilitate the best teaching our department has to offer.

Both courses are structured and taught in the same way but the choice of units means pupils and staff can indulge their historical interests and study a broad scope of history. Pupils will also develop excellent historical skills, and transferable skills, to support their future studies and careers.
